International Students Only

International students (neither a U.S. citizen nor a permanent resident) must complete the following forms in order to receive their first pay check at Harvard:

FNIF (Foreign National Information Form) - writable version

W-4 Tax Withholding Allowance Certificate for NRAs (all countries except Canada, Mexico, and South Korea)
W-4 Tax Withholding Allowance Certificate for NRAs from Canada, Mexico, and South Korea

The FNIF is also required in order to receive Research fellowship awards. The FNIF and attachments must be brought to the Student Employment Office or faxed to: 617-495-8422 (attn: Lauren Valente)

You must also provide a copy of your I-94, a copy of your U.S. visa and a copy of your I-20, DS2019, IAP66 or I-797 if applicable. Please note, you will not be paid until these forms have been received.
