Wage Guidelines
Since students working for or with faculty members on research have a wide range of knowledge and experience, we do not set a rate for employment under the Faculty Aide Program or the Work-Study Program.
Unless the position requires special skills, we encourage faculty members to hire their students within the Work-Study pay range, which is $9.00-$11.80 for Undergraduates and $9.00-$17.15 for Graduate students.
Students receiving stipends from the Harvard College Research Program are paid $8.75/hour for the 2006-2007 academic year.
